UGX.ai, a deep-tech startup transforming discrete manufacturing with its full-stack smart MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platform, has raised $1 million in seed funding round led by Blue Ocean Venture Partners with participation from DeVC, iSeed, Atrium Ventures and Point One Capital.
The round also saw participation from angel investors including Ramakant Sharma (Founder & CEO, Livspace), Prateek Maheshwari (Co-Founder, PhysicsWallah), Lovleen Bhatia (Co-Founder & ex-CEO, Edureka), Meghna Agarwal (Co-Founder, IndiQube), Varun Pahwa (Pahwa Group), Asad Khan (Co-Founder & CEO, LambdaTest), Dinesh Prasad (ex-Qualcomm India & SA Head), Sai Yagnyamurthy (ex-Head of Partnerships, Ford Motor Company), Gopi Prashant (ex-SVP – AI, Salesforce), Shekhar Vemuri (Founder & Director, Emerge-In), and Manish Agarwal (Co-Founder, KGeN), among others.
The funds raised will be used to expand its market in India and overseas, enhance product innovation, and scale adoption of its AI-powered enterprise apps and connectors for manufacturing.
Founded in 2023 by Abhishek Kumar, Ankur Singh, Ankit Agarwal, and Prakhar Nigam, UGX.ai offers an integrated hardware, middleware, and software platform. Its proprietary Industrial Edge Gateway and communication protocol library enable connectivity with machines, while applications such as MES, Machine Monitoring, Traceability, and Vision-based Quality Inspection drive efficiency, productivity, and quality.
UGX.ai has grown 5x over the past two years with 20+ enterprise customers across automotive and electronics manufacturing.
