Titan Capital announces final close Winners Fund at ₹333 crore

The fund, previously raised ₹200 crore in August 2024, announced the final close after accommodating the over-subscription through its green shoe option.

Titan Capital announced the final close of its ₹333 crore Winners Fund, a SEBI-registered Category-II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The fund, previously raised ₹200 crore in August 2024, announced the final close after accommodating the over-subscription through its green shoe option.

The fund is co-anchored by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, prominent figures in India’s startup ecosystem, who have been actively investing in over 280 startups since 2011.

The fund’s management team includes seasoned professionals like Chetan Rana, the Fund’s CFO, brings extensive experience in the PE/VC industry, having worked with WestBridge Capital, Edelweiss Financial Group, and Big 4 firms. Shiv Kapoor, the Fund’s Vice President, has over a decade of experience in the start-up ecosystem, having been a key team member at Dropbox in the US and Urban Company in India.

The Winners Fund will invest in follow-on rounds of nearly 20 startups in its portfolio at an average cheque size of ₹15 crore across multiple sectors, including marketplaces, D2C brands, B2B SaaS offerings, and commerce.

The Fund has already announced its first 3 investments in Convin, Beco and Simplismart.

  • Convin: Bengaluru-based Convin is building an AI co-pilot for customer-facing teams, and counts Flipkart and ICICI Bank as customers.
  • Beco: Eco-friendly homecare staples transforming sustainable living.
  • Simplismart: Enabling organizations to fast-track machine learning adoption and boost performance.

“We are grateful for the overwhelming interest we’ve received from investors for the Titan Capital Winners Fund. Through this fund, we will back about 20 tech-enabled businesses with an average cheque size of ₹15 crores. This further strengthens our existing partnership with the founders and gives a strong positive signal to new investors in their company,” said Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal in a joint statement.

Titan Capital’s seed portfolio includes some of India’s most successful startups, such as Urban Company, Mamaearth, Ola Cabs, Razorpay, Credgenics, and OfBusiness. The Winners Fund’s Limited Partners (LPs) include a diverse mix of family offices, CEOs, founders, and notable figures from the venture capital industry.

Since its inception in 2015, Titan Capital has invested in over 250 start-ups, with notable successes including Urban Company, Mamaearth (Honasa), OfBusiness, Razorpay, Unicommerce, Credgenics, and Ola Cabs. The LPs for the Titan Capital Winners Fund come from across the country and include prominent family offices, CEOs and founders of leading companies, and key figures from the VC landscape.
