Techugo, a mobile application development and digital transformation company, has announced the appointment of Akshay Gupta as Vice President – IT (Global Markets).
The new position will see Akshay Gupta as the head of Techugo’s global IT strategy. He will focus on developing highly secure, fast, and scalable technological frameworks that cover the entire world. In alignment with IT operations to drive business growth, innovation, and global delivery to clients, he will be in charge of the technology, becoming a central part of the plan to realize Techugo’s long-term global ambitions and thus securing the future of Techugo in the world market.
Before joining Techugo, Akshay served as the Chief Business Officer at Global Innovations, where he handled the entire revenue planning and operations, oversaw a global team of cross-functional teams, and led the business transformation through tech innovation.
Prior to that, he held various leadership positions in AdCrest Media LLC, Digital Cappuccino, and Ackrolix Innovations, where he was the one who facilitated, to a certain extent, such things as market, operational, and environmental growth through the digital sector.
He has also gone through a process of professional development that included consulting with the renowned global brands like HP, HCL Technologies, Google (ETO), OLX Group, and Unacademy, all of which have equipped him with unique attributes of enterprise-scale exposure, startup agility, and global platform experience.
Earlier in his career, he was more involved with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams and was also responsible for managing P&Ls and devising growth strategies. However, these activities gradually led to his undertaking of responsibilities in IT operations, infrastructure planning, and digital systems, which signified a concurring transition from business leadership to technology charge.
Abhinav Singh, CEO & Co-Founder, Techugo, said, “Akshay has all the right skills and qualities, the combination that is most needed to grab the Techugo throne. His experience in sales and revenue giving and then silently leading IT strategy speaks volumes about how technology must always be in sync with real business outcomes. Global expansion and investments in enterprise and AI-led solutions will be the areas where his leadership will be highly appreciated for building a strong, scalable, and future-ready IT ecosystem.”
Akshay Gupta said, “My career transition from sales and business leadership to IT strategy has shaped my conviction that technology must be the major enabler of growth, efficiency, and scaling up. Techugo is at a turning point in its global journey, and I am looking forward to cooperating with teams from all over the world to construct IT systems that are secure, efficient, and innovative and provide lasting value for clients in the markets.”
