The Global Chess League (GCL), a joint initiative of Tech Mahindra and FIDE, has teamed up with BMC Helix, a digital enterprise solution provider, to infuse AI-powered intelligence and automation into its technology infrastructure.
This partnership will ensure every move, match, and moment runs seamlessly for players, organizers, and the league’s fans across the world. GCL Season 3 will take place from December 13 to 24, 2025, at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House.
Through its partnership with BMC Helix, the league will engage BMC Helix AIOps, the company’s AI-powered platform for intelligent service and operations management. The system uses predictive analytics and automation to keep operations seamless, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay, reliable broadcasts, and a smoother experience for players, organizers, and fans worldwide.
The league’s upcoming season will feature enhanced broadcast formats, multilingual storytelling, and inclusive engagement zones, creating new ways for fans to experience the game. Furthermore, GCL Season 3 aims to turn spectators into participants through immersive digital activations and global fan challenges.
With premium fan lounges, Superfan programs, and immersive digital zones, GCL is redefining how spectators engage with chess, both on-site and online.
