SUN Mobility, an electric vehicle energy services company announced the appointment of Anant Badjatya as the CEO of Indofast Swap Energy, a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) and SUN Mobility.
Anant Badjatya, formerly CEO – SUN Mobility, has taken the reins of Indofast with immediate effect. This strategic move follows the landmark deal signed by IOCL and SUN Mobility in June 2024 to establish a battery-swapping network by 2030.
Anant Badjatya, who has over 20 years of experience in the energy and automotive sectors, will lead Indofast Energy’s efforts to establish an extensive battery-swapping network by bringing together the might of IndianOil’s network of over 37,000 fuel stations across India, with SUN Mobility’s unparalleled battery swapping technology. Indofast Swap Energy, with its Battery-as-a-Service model will offer two and three wheeler owners affordable mobility options, eliminating range anxiety and long charging times.
