“We are incredibly excited about what 2025 holds for SportsSkill. The international expansion is just the beginning. Our new gamified center in Pune, collaborations with schools, and enhanced R&D efforts are all geared toward one goal: empowering athletes everywhere with the tools they need to perform at their best. This is a huge leap forward in our mission to transform the sports training world,” said Chetan Desai, Co-Founder of SportsSkill.
Abhinav Sinha, Co-Founder of SportsSkill. “Having a highly experienced and established firm back us at this stage is a strong validation of our mission. Waimea Bay Investments lays a solid foundation for what we’re building at SportsSkill. This marks a significant step upward as we prepare for our seed round later this year. We’re excited for the journey ahead and deeply grateful for the belief and support.”
Founded in 2021 by Chetan Desai and Abhinav Sinha, SportsSkill is a comprehensive AI-powered sports performance-tracking app that offers multiple features to enhance skills and achieve goals. It features skill & performance tracking, goal setting, progress monitoring with charts & graphs, rest & recovery tracking.
Recently, SportsSkill also unveiled its high-performance gamified training center. This unique facility seamlessly blends serious training with gamification, offering athletes an immersive experience that enhances fitness, hones technique, and builds competitive spirit—all in a fun, engaging environment.
Alongside these physical expansions, SportsSkill is increasing its collaborations with schools across India. The company also aims to integrate its technology into schools, helping young athletes access advanced training tools from an early age.
The company also plans to add more sports to its app, thereby broadening its appeal to a wider range of athletes. It will also shift to a B2B2C model in the second half of 2025 to enable closer collaborations with sports organisations, educational institutions, and businesses, paving the way for tailored training solutions and potential synergies.
