Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) announced the renewal of their exclusive broadcast and digital rights for the Durand Cup for the next three seasons till 2027.
The renewal grants exclusive television and digital rights to Sony Pictures Networks India,, and the tournament will be telecast live on Sony Sports Network channels and live-streamed on Sony Liv in India and the subcontinent.
Starting from July 23, 2025, Durand Cup 2025 will be telecast live on Sony Sports Ten 2 SD & HD channels.
As part of the long-standing association, SPNI collaborated with former Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri, team owner-actor John Abraham and Bollywood Superstar Kartik Aaryan for specially curated campaigns.
With SPNI being the Durand Cup’s broadcast destination in the previous two seasons, the tournament has seen a growth in viewership. The prestigious tournament witnessed 100% growth in cumulative reach and a 27% jump in average impressions (compared to the 2023 season).
