Schneider Electric, a digital transformation of energy management and automation company, has announced the appointment of Arvind Melagani as Vice President – General Counsel, Greater India Territory.
Melagani joins Schneider Electric with over 23 years of experience in legal, regulatory, and governance operations. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and General Counsel at Bosch Group, India and Robert Bosch GmbH, overseeing legal and company secretarial functions across multiple countries, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Earlier in his career, he worked at Jurisperitus Law Firm, specializing in capital markets, M&A, project finance, and corporate advisory, and also actively practiced civil and commercial litigation before the Supreme Court of India.
In his new role, he will lead the legal and company secretarial teams across the Greater India territory and will work closely with the India Management Team.
