SBI General Insurance has appointed Monish Uprit as Regional Head of West 2 and Preet Deep Singh as Regional Head of North 1, strengthening its leadership team. This aligns with the company’s aim to expand regionally for growth.
In their new roles, Uprit and Singh will now lead the West 2 and North 1 businesses, ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting operational benchmarks.
Uprit and Singh will report to the Chief Business Officer, overseeing strategic and operational initiatives in their regions.
Monish Uprit, with over 25 years of experience in the Insurance industry, held key positions at ICICI Prudential, TATA AIG, and Cholamandalam MS, showcasing expertise in driving growth and efficiency. He is a Commerce Graduate from DAVV, Indore, and holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore.
Preet Deep Singh, with over two decades of General Insurance industry experience, held key positions at Bajaj Allianz, Go Digit, and IFFCO Tokio. He played a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence. Singh is an Engineering Graduate from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Post Graduate from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
