The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Executive Director, Vivek Deep, today announced the rebranding of Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) to Bharat Connect at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2024.
The announcement was made in the presence of Ajay Kumar Choudhary, non-executive chairman and independent director of NPCI.
Bharat Connect, developed by NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL), represents a broader vision beyond a mere bill payment system. The rebranding reflects NBBL’s commitment to create an ecosystem that connects individuals and businesses, through an integrated platform.
