NTT DATA Payment Services India, an end-to-end payment service provider, announced the appointment of Syed Mohammad Zafar Alam as Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective from today. This strategic move aims to drive and boost the company’s payment business further.
With over two decades of experience, Zafar Alam will spearhead strategic initiatives, and business growth, expanding the client base and strengthening partnerships in this ever-evolving fintech space.
Previously, Zafar Alam was associated with Paytm Payment Services Ltd as Sr. Vice President and Business Head for two years. Over the course of his career, he worked with leading banks such as Axis Bank heading ecommerce business and ICICI Bank where he was instrumental in driving business growth and fostering strong client relationships. Zafar Alam holds a bachelor’s degree in arts from Calcutta University.
