Kshema Power, a renewable and hybrid energy solutions provider, announced the appointment of Mohan Shanmugam as the Overall Head of Projects. He brings unparalleled experience to the company as it looks to significantly expand its project portfolio and enhance delivery standards globally.
Mohan is a distinguished veteran in the energy sector, bringing over three decades of extensive, cross-functional experience in executing large-scale power and transmission infrastructure across diverse markets in the Middle East and India.
Most recently, as Senior Project Director at Al Gihaz Holding in Saudi Arabia, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, managing the end-to-end delivery of crucial Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission and Smart RMU projects with a combined value exceeding SAR 3.8 billion.
This comprehensive management covered everything from competitive bidding and tendering to robust execution and complex financial alignment across varied geographical locations. Furthermore, his background includes leading senior execution teams for critical wind energy projects at prominent companies such as Senvion India and Alfanar – India.
His proven track record and intense operational focus on stringent quality standards, meticulous safety, and guaranteed timely execution will be instrumental as Kshema Power rapidly scales its portfolio, particularly in cutting-edge renewables and integrated hybrid power systems.
In his capacity as Overall Head of Projects, Shanmugam will implement a strategic framework designed to significantly enhance Kshema Power’s delivery capabilities. His comprehensive mandate includes driving standardization in project management methodologies, optimizing staffing models, accelerating execution timelines for major contracts, proactively managing client expectations and ground relationships, and strengthening the company’s overall on-site delivery excellence framework company-wide.
