Kho Kho World Cup has partnered with Nayan Naveli Gallery for the inaugural World Cup 2025, to be held at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi from 13-19 January.
This partnership aims to merge the vibrant essence of Indian art with the electrifying energy of sport, creating a global spectacle that transcends boundaries and weaves together the threads of athleticism, culture, and heritage.
At the heart of this union is a celebration of India’s rich artistic legacy. A meticulously curated art exhibition by Amrita Kochhar will grace the tournament venues, featuring works by some of India’s most celebrated contemporary artists, including Anuradha Tandon, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Krishnendu Porel, Nayanaa Kanodia, Ram Onkar, Renuka Sondhi Gulati, Santosh Kumar Verma, Shampa Bhattacharjee, Shampa Sircar, Shrikanth G Poddar, Vijender Sharma and Vimmi Indra.
These masterpieces, inspired by the themes of Kho Kho, movement, and energy, will offer attendees a multisensory experience that bridges the gap between the physical dynamism of sport and the emotional depth of art.
Mandeep Malhotra, CMO of Kho Kho Federation of India, said, “Through this partnership, we aim to create an unforgettable event where sport and art come together to celebrate human expression. By showcasing the synergy between the intensity of Kho Kho and the vibrancy of Indian art, we hope to captivate audiences and elevate the stature of both disciplines on the global stage.”
