Khimji Jewellers, a well-known and trusted jewellery house based in Odisha, has appointed Rajat Verma as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
With this appointment, Rajat will be the one managing the marketing department, and eventually, the company’s growth and retail expansion plans will be his team’s responsibility. Apart from the consumer-related activities, his responsibilities will cover the brand and marketing strategy and execution in the company’s portfolio.
Besides, he will be part of the leadership team when new outlets are being opened in order to keep the marketing activities aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
In his new role, he will not only be the backbone of the marketing function but also the driver of the company’s retail expansion in India.
He has built over 20 years of experience in the retail and consumer industries, and his main focus is on brand development and marketing through expansion strategies.
Rajat joins Khimji Jewellers from V2 Retail, where he was instrumental in devising marketing initiatives that attracted growth in various areas.
