JSW Sports announced the signing of Suryansh Shedge, an all-rounder from Mumbai, and Angkrish Raghuvanshi, a top-order batter from Delhi. Both players have shown immense potential in their careers so far and will represent Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively, in IPL 2025.
Suryansh’s rise from local cricket circuits to the IPL has been nothing short of extraordinary. Praised by senior players, including Shreyas Iyer, who has helped shape his fearless, aggressive approach, Suryansh shone under Iyer’s leadership during the SMAT 2024/25, posting an incredible strike rate of 251.92—the highest of the season.
He also made history with the fastest triple century in the Giles Shield Tournament 2016, scoring an unbeaten 326 off 137 balls. His all-round skills were on full display in the BCCI Men’s Under-25 State A Trophy, where he scored 184 runs and took 12 wickets in eight matches.

In addition to Suryansh, JSW Sports also signed Angkrish, who was India’s highest run-scorer in the victorious 2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup in the Caribbean. He finished as the fourth-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 278 runs in six innings, playing a crucial role in India’s title victory.
After making his List A and T20 debuts for Mumbai in the 2023-24 season, Angkrish’s IPL journey began with Kolkata Knight Riders, who retained him for INR 3 crore ahead of IPL 2025.
In his first IPL season, he showcased his potential with a blistering 27-ball 57 in his debut, making him one of the youngest batsmen to achieve the feat. Over the course of the season, he played a key role in helping KKR secure its third IPL title.
