IndusInd Bank announced the appointment of Sheran Mendiratta Mehra as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In her new role, Sheran will lead the Bank’s brand, marketing, and digital engagement strategy, strengthening its positioning in an increasingly dynamic financial landscape.
With over 25 years of experience across organisations such as DBS Bank, Barclays, Mahindra Holidays, HSBC, and global advertising majors like Ogilvy, Sheran brings deep expertise across banking, travel, FMCG, and digital services. Her strategic focus has consistently blended brand storytelling with data-driven marketing and customer insight.
Sheran joins IndusInd Bank from Tata Digital, where she most recently served as Chief Business Officer, spearheading loyalty growth initiatives for Indian Hotels on Tata Neu. She was instrumental in driving a 3x growth mandate in loyalty contribution and GMV through direct digital channels.
A founding team member of Tata Neu, Sheran previously served as Chief Brand Officer, where she played a pivotal role in launching India’s first Super App during IPL. She led the creation of Tata Neu’s brand identity, consumer experience design, and digital engagement, resulting in significant gains in brand awareness, engagement, and platform adoption.
