Former Unacademy CBO Abhinav Agarwal has raised $2.2 million in a seed funding round to launch a new startup in the eyewear category.
IndiaQuotient-Gagan Goyal led the round with the participation of Gaurav Munjal & Roman Saini (Unacademy), Kunal Shah (Cred), Abhiraj Bhal (Urban Company), Kunal Bhal & Rohit Bansal (Snapdeal), Utsav Somani (Offline), Dilip Khandelwal (DB), Phanindra Sama (RedBus), Neeraj Khandelwal & Sumit Gupta (CoinDCX) and Arjun Vaidya (Dr Vaidya’s).
The startup is in the pre-launch phase right now and is hiring across functions: supply chain, retail, operations, tech, eyewear design, 3d design, merchandising, influencer marketing, brand, performance marketing, and video editors.
