Crayons Advertising enters professional cricket with acquisition of New Delhi Tigers in DPL T20

Crayons Advertising, a prominent independent agency in India, has announced its official entry into professional cricket through the consortium acquisition of the New Delhi Tigers franchise in the upcoming Delhi Premier League T20 – Season 2 (DPL T20 2025).

The New Delhi Tigers team will be led by marquee players Himmat Singh and Prince Yadav.

The DPLT20 is scheduled to commence on August 2, 2025, with the New Delhi Tigers playing their inaugural match on August 3 at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

The DPLT20, backed by Perfect Pitch Events & Sports. The first season featured over 400 male and 80 female players and garnered millions of views across various platforms.

Crayons already has a presence in the sporting ecosystem through the grassroots initiatives of the Crayons Academy for Skills and Excellence, which recently launched India’s first Joe Root Academy. Additionally, this move represents a strategic expansion into media inventories available through regional cricket leagues, including Prime TV and OTT slots, thereby bolstering Crayons’ media presence and providing a fresh impetus to its Out-of-Home (OOH) division.
