Astrogate Labs, a space-tech startup has raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series funding round led by Piper Serica Angel Fund.
The funds raised will be used to further accelerate the development of its laser communication terminals for space and additional use cases in terrestrial and airborne applications, scale operations, and strengthen partnerships with space agencies and defense organisations.

Founded in 2017 by Nitish Singh, Yogeshwaran J, and Subhajit Chakraborty, Astrogate Labs provides end-to-end laser communication systems for secure high-speed connectivity across terrestrial and space applications.
The Bengaluru-based company has been backed by Speciale Invest, SatSure and Anicut Capital, who provided early funding to support the development of its innovative technology.
