Arohan Financial Services, a NBFC-MFI and part of The Aavishkaar Group, announced the re-joining of Arvind Murarka as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
In his role, Murarka will lead the organization’s IT function and drive its technology and digital transformation agenda.
Murarka brings with him over 25 years of distinguished leadership experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation, technology modernization, and enabling business growth across financial services and other industries. A seasoned CXO-level technology leader, he is known for aligning IT strategy with business objectives while ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
During his earlier tenure at Arohan Financial Services, Murarka played a pivotal role in spearheading end-to-end digital transformation initiatives. His contributions included establishing IT governance frameworks aligned with RBI standards, implementing core technology systems, strengthening cybersecurity and risk management frameworks, and driving automation initiatives that delivered significant efficiency improvements and cost optimization.
Prior to re-joining Arohan, Murarka served as Chief Information Officer at Spandana Sphoorty Financial, where he led enterprise-wide IT transformation for a listed microfinance NBFC.
