Agilitas Sports, a sportswear and athleisure solutions platform has announced the appointment of squash player Saurav Ghosal as Director – High Performance Sports.
In this strategic leadership role, Ghosal will drive Agilitas’ ambition to shape the future of performance innovation, while also contributing to the marketing and distribution strategy of its high-performance portfolio.
Saurav will work closely with the core leadership team to help define product strategy, performance R&D, and go-to-market execution for the high-performance category. His hands-on experience and athlete-first approach will also shape collaborations, athlete partnerships, and grassroots engagement.
Born in Kolkata, Saurav began playing squash at a young age and trained at the ICL Squash Academy in Chennai. His talent and determination led him to further hone his skills in the UK, where he gained invaluable experience competing at international levels. Ghosal’s career is marked by several milestones— he reached a career-high ranking of World No. 10 in April 2019.
He won the first ever squash medal for India, a bronze in the singles and mixed doubles at the Commonwealth Games (only Indian to win an individual medal in squash) and the Asian Games (9 medals, second behind only PT Usha, who has 11), and winning multiple national and international titles. He is also the proud recipient of the Arjuna Award in 2006.
