Zydus Healthcare, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences, has appointed Swati Dalal as its new Managing Director and Additional Director.
With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dalal has been appointed in a full-time capacity for a tenure of five years.
She started her career with Wockhardt Nutrition & thereafter joined erstwhile Boots. Through subsequent mergers with Knoll, Solvay and Abbott, she progressed in her career with various leadership roles across Abbott. At Abbott she has held various responsibilities, spanning commercial & support functions including as Commercial Director Sales & Marketing, leading support functions of NPI, Business Development & Commercial Excellence and later as Managing Director of Abbott Nutrition & Abbott Primary Care.
Prior to joining Zydus Healthcare, Dalal served as the Managing Director of Abbott India, where she held several pivotal positions, including Commercial Director – Sales & Marketing and Head of Business Development & Commercial Excellence.
At Abbott India she led and contributed to various employee development initiatives such as Women Leaders of Abbott, Early Career Network and is an advocate of Abbott’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda in India.
