ZeroMobIt, a Hyderabad-based student mobility startup, has raised ₹1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round, led by prominent angel investors like Sandeep Varaganti (CEO, JioMart), Dr. Ashok Agrawal (SVP, Axis Bank), and HNIs.
The funds raised will be used to accelerate its AI-native technology development, operational expansion and infrastructure roadmap, advancing the firm in its long-term infrastructure vision.
ZeroMobIt will bolster its core architecture and orchestration systems for compliant and scalable student mobility by developing an AI-native platform. Additionally, the firm will use the funds to build decentralised intelligence layers with Edge AI to enhance real-time safety, route optimisation, and operational resilience.
ZeroMobIt will also aim to accelerate campus partnerships, fleet expansion, and compliance infrastructure across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Chennai, and Mumbai, signalling operational expansion for long-term growth. The company will also look to increase its core team strength, hiring across engineering, operations and growth to support scalability.
Founded in April 2024 by Vijay Ganagam and Alfred Lazarus, ZeroMoblt is a Hyderabad-based student-centric startup focused on taking student problems to zero, starting with compliant, safe, and reliable mobility solutions. The company integrates AI-native architecture, structured operations, and ecosystem design to modernise student transportation systems.
ZeroMobIt has so far partnered with 15+ institutions and has established itself as a compliance-first student mobility model.
The firm has so far completed 3.4 lakh student trips across 147 pincodes in Hyderabad, and is currently in the onboarding phase of several institutions in the city. With a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles and 100% compliance, ZeroMobIt’s integrated app ecosystem combines mobility logistics, safety, discovery, tracking, and subscription features.
Vijay Ganagam, CEO and Co-Founder of ZeroMobIt, said, “Student mobility has remained structurally unchanged for decades. We are building an AI-native, compliance-first infrastructure layer that aligns safety, scalability, and ecosystem trust. This funding allows us to accelerate toward building infrastructure that cities and institutions can rely on.”
Alfred Lazarus, Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) and Co-Founder of ZeroMobIt, said, “The future of mobility infrastructure will not just be digital — it will be intelligent, decentralized, orchestrated and interoperable. We are on the precipice of Data Sovereign Trust Tech Ecosystems”
