ZEE Entertainment Enterprises (Z) has entered into a strategic partnership with the integrated start-up platform Ideabaaz Tech.
Founded by Jeet Wagh and Family, Ideabaaz is an integrated start-up reality show and platform designed to discover, mentor and fund entrepreneurs from tier II and tier III cities. It combines media, entrepreneurship and innovation, which seamlessly aligns with the business approach adopted by the Company to drive impact through inclusive innovation.
Z and Ideabaaz will launch a new Intellectual Property (IP) to build India’s largest tier II and tier III startup ecosystem, titled Ideabaaz. Ideabaaz is a jointly developed and co-funded IP that blends the pioneering legacy, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong consumer connect of ‘Z’ with Ideabaaz’s entrepreneurial vision.
Created and curated by the renowned media expert, Raj Nayak, who is also an investor in Ideabaaz, along with Jeet Wagh and Sagoon Wagh, the show is aimed towards the start-up ecosystem. The show will be propelled by ‘Z’s massive reach of over 1.3 billion viewers across the globe and its robust presence across languages by premiering on the flagship Hindi television channel, Zee TV and its digital entertainment platform, ZEE5.
In a pioneering move, ‘Z’ will adopt a dual-platform strategy, TV and digital for the show, by blending the immense reach and collective viewing experience of linear television with the scale and interactivity of digital platforms to create a holistic and synergistic content offering for consumers.
Tapping into the various consumer cohorts across regions, the show will enable Indian entrepreneurs from tier II and tier III markets a unique opportunity to showcase their business ideas and innovations on a national and international level by pitching across languages, breaking accessibility barriers and securing funding and mentorship.
