X, formerly known as Twitter has appointed Angela Zepeda as its new Global Head of Marketing. Zepeda joins from Hyundai Motor America, where she was Chief Creative Officer/ Chief Marketing Officer.
With more than 25 years of extensive experience in consumer-centric campaigns, Angela brings a wealth of expertise in online and digital marketing to her new role.
Zepeda announced the news of her appointment in a LinkedIn post, she shared, “I have X-citing news to share! After an incredible five-year journey as CMO/CCO for Hyundai, I’m thrilled to shift gears and drive into a new adventure as the global head of marketing for X! Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and support, and I can’t wait to explore the new horizons with the amazing team at X.”

She has been working with Hyundai for the past 5 years. In the past, she has also worked with INNOCEAN USA, Quigley-Simpson, Lowe Campbell Ewald, and more.
She holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Advertising from California State University, Fullerton.
