Usha International, a consumer durables brand, announced its continued partnership with the Mumbai Indians Women’s team for the upcoming edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2026).

This season sees fresh energy added to the Mumbai Indian’s visual identity with their celebrated blue and gold kit, a symbol of confidence, excellence, and relentless ambition.

Komal Mehra, Head – Sports Initiatives at Usha International, said, “The league continues to inspire youth, especially women, through its deeper connection with the viewers. This league has played a meaningful role in creating platforms, recognising and strengthening women in sports, and the front-row view of the growing participation, skill and self-confidence on and off the field is a testament to its rising stature. Mumbai Indians said, “We are pleased to extend our long-standing partnership with Usha International. Together, we remain committed to advancing women’s cricket and look forward to building on this shared vision in the seasons ahead. Usha has been one of our longest-standing partners across teams, and we will continue to champion the growth of women’s cricket.”

Slated to begin on 9th January, 2026, the 1st match of the League will see the Mumbai Indians in a face-off with Bengaluru at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The opening leg will see the MI Women’s team play five games at the DY Patil Stadium till 17th January, followed by fixtures in Baroda, where the remaining league phase matches will be hosted at BCA Stadium, followed by the playoffs. The team will play their final league stage against Gujarat on 30th January.

Usha has long been committed to supporting inclusive sporting ecosystems across the country, with initiatives that span Mumbai Indians, Ultimate Flying Disc, football, ladies’ and junior golf, cricket for the deaf, and several sports for the visually challenged – including athletics, kabaddi, judo, and powerlifting. The brand also continues to invest in India’s rich sporting heritage by encouraging traditional practices such as Kalaripayattu, Mallakhamb, Siat Khnam, Thang-Ta, Turai Kabaddi, Saz-Loung, Mardani Khel, Satoliya, Yoga, and Silambam.
