Wealthy Nivesh has onboarded Professor Vikas Agarwal, a distinguished finance scholar, as a research advisor and shareholder.
Dr. Agarwal’s extensive research interests span investments, household finance, private equity and venture capital. His work delves into various facets of finance, including institutional investors like exchange-traded funds, hedge funds, and mutual funds, as well as household finance and private securities. His research findings have graced the pages of top-tier academic journals. Notably, his research has garnered recognition in the financial press.
Vikas Agarwal holds the prestigious Bank of America Distinguished Chair and Professor of Finance position at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He is also a visiting faculty at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from the London Business School and serves as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Financial Research, University of Cologne, Germany.
Additionally, he holds a Research Associate role at the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Center in France. In addition to his academic roles, he also holds the position of director on the board of the Southeastern Alternative Fund Association and contributes to the academic advisory council of Decatur Capital Management.
Dr. Agarwal’s expertise has also earned him invitations to serve as a visiting scholar/advisor/professor at esteemed institutions globally, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Reserve Bank of India, Indian School of Business, and various universities in Taiwan, Singapore, France, UK, and Hong Kong. He is a sought-after speaker, having delivered keynote addresses to academic audiences and presentations to industry groups, solidifying his status as a recognized expert in the field of investments.
