Vikram Solar, a solar module manufacturing company, announced the appointment of Arun Mittal as the Chief Executive Officer of VSL Powerhive, an energy storage systems and solutions company and its wholly owned subsidiary.
Mittal brings more than three decades of leadership experience across battery manufacturing, energy storage design, and strategic business transformation.
Most recently, as Managing Director & CEO (India) at Lohum Cleantech, he strengthened India operations and advanced models in battery recycling and circular-economy frameworks. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director & CEO, Exide Energy Solutions, where he played a central role in defining Exide’s lithium-ion mobility storage manufacturing blueprint.
His 31-year tenure at Exide Industries, where he rose from Management Trainee to Executive Director of the Automotive and Industrial Divisions, was marked by innovation, market expansion, and capability building. He is also a member of ICAI, ICSI, and ICMAI.
