upGrad, an integrated learning and skilling platform, has announced the appointment of Deepesh Dhakad as its Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), effective October 2025.
He will oversee upGrad’s end-to-end product, design, and technology ecosystem across its learner and enterprise verticals, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and global user experience.
A seasoned product and technology leader, Deepesh brings close to 2 decades of experience across marquee consumer tech brands, including Amazon, Flipkart, Unacademy, and most recently, Games24x7.
Deepesh’s expertise spans growth strategy, building high-velocity platforms, architecting scalable consumer experiences and platform design to deliver both engagement and profitability at scale.
He has built and scaled digital ecosystems serving millions of users globally, led large cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, and analytics, and driven measurable growth through data-led experimentation and AI-powered product innovation.
