U-Sphere, a subsidiary of ULCCS (Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society), announced the appointment of Biju Mahima as its Chief Executive Officer.
A seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience across the construction, infrastructure, and engineering sectors, Mahima brings with him a legacy of delivering large-scale, high-impact projects across India and the Middle East.
Prior to joining U-Sphere, Mahima served as Vice President at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, where he led the construction solutions business and managed complex multi-storey and industrial projects across steel, RCC, precast, and LGS systems. He also played a pivotal role as Project Head at LULU Infra Build, where he spearheaded the ₹1,500 crore Lulu IT Park project in Cochin—spanning over 3.62 million sq. ft. with a mix of RCC, composite, and steel structural systems.
His earlier international stints include roles at Emirates Engineering Services, UAE and Al Zamil Industries, Saudi Arabia, where he led engineering, design, and structural execution of industrial and commercial infrastructure.
In is new role, Mahima will work closely with cross-functional teams across Design & Engineering, Production, and Execution to deliver integrated, future-ready building solutions. His leadership will focus on accelerating project timelines, embracing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering sustainable practices across institutional, residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Mahima holds a PGCBM in Business Administration and Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, an M-Tech in Structural Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and a B-Tech in Civil Engineering from MACE, Kerala. He is also a qualified officer of the prestigious Indian Engineering Services (IES) and has served with the Military Engineering Services (MES).
