TTK Prestige, a kitchen appliances and cookware company, announced the elevation of Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan to Managing Director (MD). Venkatesh, who previously served as CEO of TTK Prestige, will succeed Chandru Kalro, the outgoing MD, further strengthening the company’s leadership team.
Venkatesh joined TTK Prestige as Chief Executive Officer in Jan 2024. Prior to TTK Prestige, Venkatesh held leadership positions in companies like Cavinkare and Airtel.
Venkatesh began as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Indian Organic Chemicals and then joined as a Project Engineer/Production In Charge at industrial units of Reliance Industries in Patalganga & Hazira.
Following his MBA, he transitioned to the Telecom sector, accumulating a rich experience of more than 19 years with Escorts Group and Bharti Airtel. During his telecom tenure, he assumed pivotal roles at Airtel, including Head of Product Marketing in Karnataka Circle, CMO ( Ops ) for India & South Asia, COO in Maharashtra, and CEO for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
In 2018, he became part of Cavinkare Private Limited, a Chennai-based FMCG pioneer encompassing a diverse range of products in Personal Care, Dairy, Foods, and Beverages. He assumed the role of CEO & Director and Board Member.
Venkatesh is a Chemical Engineer from Anna University, Chennai, with a PGDMM from Times School of Marketing, Delhi and was part of the Global Leadership Executive Management Program from Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. He is also a proud recipient of the Fulbright- CII “Leadership in Management” fellowship awarded by the Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs, USA.
