TripFactory, a global travel platform with a strong presence in India, has raised $50 million in Series A funding from a prominent International Corporate Group headquartered in India.
Funding is raised by TripFactory parent ORN Ventures, which is also the parent company of Nexus DMC. This investment values the company at $500 million.
Other notable new shareholders who joined the captable in this funding round include Vani Kola (Founder and Managing Director of Kalaari Capital), Mohandas Pai (Former CFO of Infosys), and Ranjan Pai (Chairman of Manipal Education and Medical Group).
The funds will be used to meet the growing demand for vacation surges in India for International travel.
