Thyrocare Technologies, a healthcare diagnostics company and part of API Holdings, has appointed Dr Ramesh Kinha as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Dr Kinha is a seasoned healthcare and diagnostics leader with over 17 years of experience across leading organisations in the diagnostics sector, with deep expertise in laboratory operations and quality systems.
A medical professional with strong academic credentials, Dr Kinha holds an MBBS degree and an MD in Pathology. He has also completed senior management and leadership programmes at IIM Nagpur and ISB (Indian School of Business). As a certified NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) assessor, he brings strong expertise in quality and regulatory excellence.
Prior to joining Thyrocare, Dr Kinha served as Group Director – Laboratory Services at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, where he led critical operational and quality initiatives. His extensive career includes senior leadership roles at Apollo Health & Lifestyle, Medall Healthcare, Metropolis Healthcare, and SRL, where he has delivered operational excellence and driven strategic transformation.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing lab operations and strengthening quality standards across Thyrocare’s network, with a clear focus on consistently raising the bar on diagnostic accuracy and service delivery.
