The Wealth Company, a Pantomath Group Company, announced the appointment of Bhalchandra Joshi as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Asset Management arm.
With over three decades of leadership experience in India’s banking and financial sector, B.Y. Joshi brings a wealth of expertise to this role.
As COO, B.Y. Joshi will oversee group operations and drive strategic value creation for stakeholders through operational excellence, technology & AI led innovation and sustained growth initiatives.
B.Y. Joshi is a seasoned leader in the financial services industry, with an MBA in Marketing and is a Certified Financial Planner with deep expertise in Asset and Wealth management operations.
Prior to this, B.Y. Joshi played a crucial role in aligning operational goals with business strategy, along with evolving market needs at 360 One Wealth & Asset Management. His distinguished career spans leadership roles such as Head – Global Strategy and Operations at Cybrilla Technologies, Member of the AMC board, Executive Director & COO at Whiteoak Capital Investment Management, and Chief – Service Delivery and Operations excellence at Nippon Life India Asset Management Company Limited. He has also held key positions at India’s premium banks ICICI Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank.
B.Y. Joshi has made significant contributions to the Asset Management industry through his decade-long tenure as a Member on the Operations and Compliance Committee of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI-OPCO), and as a Board Member of Mutual Fund Utilities (MFU) for seven years.
