The Phoenix Mills (PML), the retail and commercial real estate developer, has announced the appointment of Varun Chhibber as Chief Executive Officer – Hotels.
A seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Varun brings a strong legacy of excellence in hotel operations, revenue optimisation, and strategic business transformation.
In his new role, he will spearhead the growth strategy for our hospitality vertical, focusing on maximising revenue generation, elevating guest experiences, strengthening brand positioning, and driving operational profitability.
In addition to growth strategy, Varun will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities through feasibility studies, consumer trend analysis, and strategic due diligence. He will also implement annual operating plans to ensure performance accountability and sustainable profitability across the hospitality portfolio.
A graduate of IHM Mumbai with a PGDM in Hotel Management from the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development, Varun has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s leading hospitality brands including Oberoi Group, The Leela Hotels, Universal Resorts, and most recently at St.Regis Mumbai.
