Capgemini, an information technology services and consulting company today announced that the Swedish Armed Forces has signed a new multi-year framework agreement with Capgemini as one of three suppliers for SAP consulting services.
As part of the agreement, Capgemini will ensure continuity, competence and quality in operational management systems, for example in managing logistics, personnel and finances. Capgemini was selected based on the competency of its team, its track record in delivering such projects and its proven ability to work in close collaboration to achieve success, in a cost-efficient way.
As part of the framework agreement, Capgemini’s SAP experts will continuously support the Armed Forces by reinforcing both resource and project assignments through all phases of the project life cycle.

The Swedish Armed Forces’ SAP system, called PRIO, currently has 25,000 users and is an operational management system for managing logistics, personnel and finances, among other things. Development of the integrated system is being carried out to enable increased operational capability and to simplify cooperation with allies.
