Sustain Labs Paris, a climate and sustainability-focused venture builder, has announced the launch of its unique initiative for climate tech startups – SLP Climate Tech Startup Sprint.
This global initiative offers climate tech startups expert support for a large number of sustainability-focused technical reports, such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards SME format, alongside 2 hours of strategic consulting. The startup sprint is highly selective and offered free of cost, with the potential to tailor and expand to meet the greater needs of the individual startups.
Miniya Chatterji, CEO of Sustain Labs Paris, said, “While Sustain Labs Paris works with large organizations and governments, we have been approached by startups a lot. As a consequence, we have supported startups free of cost, who we believed had disruptive climate tech solutions that with our support could scale up. Through the SLP Climate Tech Startup Sprint we have set up a formal yet flexible process to identify startups we wish to support and ways to support them.”
Sustain Labs Paris builds large-scale ventures globally that substantially move the needle on sustainable growth and climate action. Sustain Labs Pairs has run a global climate action fellowship since 2019 – Anant Fellowship for Climate Action – that helps individuals scale their skills to implement solutions to mitigate climate change.
Besides this, Sustain Labs Paris established and runs India’s first, 4-year, full-time, undergraduate engineering degree program – Bachelor of Technology in Climate Change at Anant School for Climate Action, Anant National University, especially focused on innovating in climate technologies.
Additionally, Sustain Labs Paris and Microsoft partnered to build Sustainability DIY, an online institution for ‘DIY’ sustainability. Among other ventures, Sustain Labs Paris also established the Carbon Capture Company in 2023, the UAE’s first carbon capture and storage project development service platform.
The SLP Startup Sprint institutionalizes expertise and support, extending expert resources to selected startups that would otherwise need to pay substantially to others for these services that Sustain Labs Paris would provide free of cost.
