Supersquad, a creator monetization startup has raised ₹2.1 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by WLDD. The round also saw participation from angel investors including Nitin Rajput and Jivraj Singh Sachar.
The funds will be used to strengthen its technology platform and grow the team. This investment will fuel the company’s mission to transform how creators connect with their audiences and monetize their passions through unforgettable travel experiences.
“Travellers (especially the younger ones) are reluctant to buy generic tour packages from OTAs who are approaching the modern travel market with a ‘one size fits all’ mindset. We’re building Supersquad because Gen Z and Millennial travellers trust content creators for discovering new travel experiences, and this behaviour will move billions of dollars from OTAs to the hands of creators. Supersquad wants to lead this disruption,” said Akash Kadyan, CEO and Co-founder of Supersquad.
Co-founded in 2024 by Akash Kadyan and Anushrut Khare, Supersquad helps creators unlock a new income stream through community-led travel experiences.
The platform offers a unique model where creators can curate travel experiences, set their own prices, and promote their trips through personalized booking pages. Supersquad handles the logistics, including a booking page and certified tour operators who ensure seamless execution.
The company aims to onboard more creators, form build strategic partnerships with travel providers, and continually innovate to lead in the creator economy.
