Shriram Asset Management Company, part of the Shriram Group, announced the appointment of Prateek Nigudkar as Senior – Fund Manager.
In this role, Prateek will contribute to the company’s overall investment strategy, with a strong emphasis on quantitative and data-driven solutions, adding to the depth of Quantamental investment management experience in Shriram AMC.
Prateek brings over 13 years of rich experience across quantitative strategies, asset allocation, and equity research. He joins Shriram AMC from Jio BlackRock Mutual Fund, where he played a key role in the overall investment strategy through asset management initiatives within the Equity Investments team.
Before that, Prateek spent seven years at DSP Mutual Fund, where he managed funds across Quantitative, Fundamental and Asset Allocation strategies. His work involved designing investment frameworks that seamlessly integrated data analytics with deep fundamental insights to cater to a wide spectrum of investor needs.
Earlier in his career, Prateek worked for more than five years at Credit Suisse as a Quant and Thematic Research Analyst. In this capacity, he developed customised analytical tools and provided actionable investment insights to both private and institutional clients.
Prateek holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and has successfully cleared all levels of the CFA and FRM programs.
