Shark Tank India Season 5 reveals new and returning judges ahead of January 2026 premiere

Producers have revealed an expanded panel 15 of sharks for Shark Tank India 5.

Shark Tank India, the hugely popular entrepreneurial reality TV show, is preparing to return for its fifth season, set to premiere on January 5, 2026, on Sony TV and stream on Sony LIV.

Producers have revealed an expanded panel of sharks, investor-judges who will evaluate and invest in early-stage startups nationwide.

New Judges for Season 5

  • Varun Alagh: CEO & Co-founder of Honasa Consumer (Mamaearth, The Derma Co.). He replaces his wife, Ghazal Alagh, on the panel.
  • Mohit Yadav: Co-founder of Minimalist, a skincare and haircare brand.
  • Kanika Tekriwal: Founder of JetSetGo Aviation, a private jet and helicopter charter company.
  • Pratham Mittal: Founder of Tetr College of Business and Masters’ Union. Pratham Mittal has joined the panel specifically for the Campus Special episodes, where he will focus on student entrepreneurship and student-led startups.
  • Shaily Mehrotra: Founder of skincare brand Fixderma.
  • Hardik Kothiya: Founder and Managing Director of Rayzon Solar

Returning Judges

Several judges from previous seasons are expected to return for Shark Tank India Season 5, including Aman Gupta (Co-founder of boAt), Anupam Mittal (Founder of Shaadi.com), Namita Thapar (Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (CEO & Co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (CEO & Co-founder of Lenskart), Ritesh Agarwal (Founder & CEO, OYO Rooms), Kunal Bahl (Entrepreneur, investor and co-founder of Snapdeal), Amit Jain (CEO & Co-founder, CarDekho Group), and Viraj Bahl (Founder & CEO, Veeba).
