Routematic, an AI-powered corporate mobility platform, has announced the appointment of Chaitanya Koduri as its new Engineering Lead.
With over 16 years of experience in software design, development, and 5 years of experience in engineering leadership across global technology firms, Chaitanya brings a proven track record of building high-performance teams and delivering scalable, impact-driven platforms.
Prior to joining Routematic, Chaitanya served as Senior Engineering Manager at Salesforce, where he led strategic product development and drove large-scale innovation focused on user experience and measurable outcomes.
In this new role, Chaitanya will oversee Routematic’s engineering and technology charter, with a strong focus on advancing Routematic’s proprietary AI stack, scaling its fleet architecture and Command Centre operations, while strengthening its platform’s predictive and safety capabilities to deliver a seamless employee commute experience to over 350,000+ employees across 300+ leading enterprises in 23+ Indian cities.
Sriram Kannan, Founder & CEO, Routematic, said, “We are pleased to have Chaitanya on board at such a crucial inflection point. Chaitanya’s strong engineering foundation, expertise in building resilient systems and leading high-scale teams make him the perfect fit for this phase of growth and expansion. Kavitha Ramachandragowda, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Routematic, said, “We’re excited to welcome Chaitanya as we scale our 24*7 Routematic Operations Command Center infrastructure and deepen our platform capabilities. His experience will be critical in delivering future-ready, sustainable mobility solutions for enterprise India.”
Chaitanya Koduri, Engineering Lead, Routematic, said, “Routematic is solving a large, complex problem at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and workforce mobility. I’m thrilled to join a mission-driven company that’s reshaping how India commutes—at scale and with empathy. I look forward to shaping the next wave of innovation with the team.”
Earlier in May 2025, Routematic raised $40 million in Series C funding led by Fullerton Carbon Action Fund and Shift4Good to expand its Transport-as-a-Service (TaaS) offerings, accelerate EV fleet deployment, and invest in AI-led technology innovation. The company has set its sights on expanding its fleet to 10,000 vehicles across India’s top five cities by March 2026, with a goal to electrify 30% of its overall fleet within the next two years, while also establishing city-level Routematic Operations Command Centres to provide round-the-clock oversight, real-time dispatching, and seamless EV integration.
