RAS Luxury Skincare, a skincare brand, has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures, an investment arm of Unilever. The round also saw participation from Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund, marking two new global institutional investors on the brand’s cap table.

RAS’ existing investors, including Sixth Sense Ventures and other notable angel investors, such as Mr Keki Mistry’s Family, have also participated in this round.

The funds raised will be used to expand its retail footprint, focusing on exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) & shop-in-shop retail. Other areas of investment include talent acquisition, R&D for new product lines, branding and marketing efforts, and technology enhancement to bolster customer experience.

Shubhika Jain, Founder and CEO, RAS Luxury Skincare, said, “Luxury skincare in India is at an inflection point, growing faster than other sectors, with consumers increasingly valuing natural, authentic, and high-performance products. At RAS, our Farm-to-Face® philosophy resonates deeply with this sentiment. With this funding, we aim to accelerate our vision of becoming India’s top luxury skincare brand while making strides toward a global presence. We remain committed to building a sustainable, high-quality business rooted in strong fundamentals, profitability, and innovation.”

“We are delighted to support RAS on its journey to create a luxury skincare brand from India that seamlessly combines richness of Indian heritage with the needs of the modern consumer for superior products. As a vertically integrated brand, RAS is uniquely positioned to deliver on its promise of sustainability, safety and products that deliver. We believe that over the next 5-7 years, the premium beauty market in India will witness significant growth, and RAS, with its distinct value proposition, is well poised to capture this opportunity,” said Pawan Chaturvedi, Partner & Head – Asia, Unilever Ventures.

Abhijeet Muzumdar, VP Corporate Development, Amazon and Head of Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund said, “Recently, we signed an MoU with DPIIT to propel India as a global manufacturing hub. As part of this endeavour, we are excited to support RAS Luxury Skincare’s next phase of growth. Through our USD 350 million Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund and our association with DPIIT, we remain committed to fuelling India’s economic development by supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs.”

Founded in 2017 by Shubhika Jain, Suramya Jain, and Sangeeta Jain, RAS Luxury Skincare is a beauty and personal care brand that uses natural ingredients to make skincare and body care products.

RAS Luxury Skincare operates with a fully in-house, vertically integrated model for luxury skincare products, including serums, moisturisers, sunscreen, and bath products, among others.

The vertically integrated startup claims to manage every step of its production process—from farming ingredients to conducting R&D in-house and manufacturing the final products, RAS ensures the highest degree of quality, efficacy, sustainability, and safety, benefiting customers and the planet alike.

The company currently operates two EBOs, with 50 more Pan-India EBOs planned over the next 3 years. The D2C startup also expects to see a boost in its B2B offerings catering to spas, salons and five-star hotels.

The company claims to have seen 140% CAGR growth last year, with its D2C channel contributing more than 50% to the revenue. It also aims a 25% of revenue contribution from its offline channels over the next four years.
