RAS Luxury Skincare, a skincare brand, has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures, an investment arm of Unilever. The round also saw participation from Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund, marking two new global institutional investors on the brand’s cap table.
RAS’ existing investors, including Sixth Sense Ventures and other notable angel investors, such as Mr Keki Mistry’s Family, have also participated in this round.
The funds raised will be used to expand its retail footprint, focusing on exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) & shop-in-shop retail. Other areas of investment include talent acquisition, R&D for new product lines, branding and marketing efforts, and technology enhancement to bolster customer experience.
Shubhika Jain, Founder and CEO, RAS Luxury Skincare, said, “Luxury skincare in India is at an inflection point, growing faster than other sectors, with consumers increasingly valuing natural, authentic, and high-performance products. At RAS, our Farm-to-Face® philosophy resonates deeply with this sentiment.
