Rabitat, a homegrown D2C brand for kids’ drinkware and foodware products, has raised ₹40 crore (~$5 million) in Series A funding round.

The round, completed in two tranches, was led by RPSG Capital and DSG Consumer Partners, and further saw participation by family houses such as Capital A, Accurize Syndicate, Flair Writing Family Office, Eagle Venture Fund, AG Ventures, as well as reputed angels and founders such as The Souled Store founders (Vedang Patel, Harsh Lal & Rohin Samtaney), LivSpace founders (Ramakant Sharma & Sourabh Jain), and Ankit Nagori (Curefit).

The fresh capital raised will be used to strengthen partnerships with Indian manufacturers, launch new designs and deepen its trust with their customers.

Founded in 2019 by Sumit Suneja and Siddharth Suneja, Rabitat offers products for babies and toddlers. Rabitat offers safe, aesthetically designed, and functional drinkware and foodware such as sippers, bottles, and lunch boxes for children. Rabitat are made from BPA-free, non-toxic products made from globally certified materials.

Sumit Suneja, Co-Founder & CEO of Rabitat said, “We’re grateful to see so many parents choosing Rabitat, with over 2 lakh families bringing our products into their homes. With a total addressable market estimated at ₹27,000 crore ($3.3 billion), the opportunity in kids’ drinkware and foodware products is massive and growing. This capital will fuel our next phase of growth where we will strengthen partnerships with Indian manufacturers and launch thoughtful new designs as well as build deeper trust with our customers. We thank all our incoming investors for their trust and for supporting our mission to build an aspirational, trusted brand in India’s food contact products market.”

Siddharth Suneja, Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer, Rabitat, said, “We’re not just building products. We’re building a brand that truly solves for the well-informed and deeply conscious parents of today. Our products are high quality, durable, made with BPA – free non-toxic premium materials as well as aesthetically pleasing and fun for kids. As founders that are parents, in many ways, we are solving for our own problems and concerns.”

Abhishek Goenka, Managing Partner, RPSG Capital Ventures, said, “Sumit and Siddharth understand the pulse of India’s new-age parents and are building Rabitat at the intersection of safety, design, and everyday utility. This category is still underpenetrated and is calling out for new players to drive innovation and not just follow existing trends. We’re confident that Rabitat will be the trusted brand of choice for more and more Indian families looking for safety and aesthetics, and we’re excited to be part of that journey.”

Hariharan Premkumar, Partner DSG Consumer Partners, said, “At DSGCP, we back founders solving real consumer pain points with product-first thinking and disciplined execution. Rabitat is building for informed parents who care deeply about what touches their child’s food—prioritizing safety, durability, and thoughtful design. With BPA-free materials and globally certified standards, Sumit and the team are creating products that parents trust and kids use every day. With this clarity of purpose, we believe Rabitat will define this large, sleepy category—not just participate in it.”
