Havas Play, the sports and entertainment network of global communications group Havas, has announced that R Venkatasubramanian has stepped down from his position as chief operating officer (COO).
R Venkatasubramanian has been associated with Havas Media Group since 2018. He was appointed Managing Director of Havas Play in 2023 when the global network introduced the specialised division in India and other key markets. In 2024, he was promoted to take up the role of Chief Operating Officer of Havas Play.
Before his elevation as COO, Venkatasubramanian also served as President – Investments and Managing Director of Havas Play.
Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Network India, said, “We are currently in the middle of a restructuring, but Venkat has decided to move on. I wish him all the best.”
