Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Deepti Velury as Chief Executive Officer of Global Production, a newly created role in which she will lead the company’s worldwide production operations.
In her new position, Velury will oversee Publicis’ expansive production capabilities, including global content studios, proprietary AI technology platforms, GenAI partnerships, and international production hubs. The move underscores the Groupe’s ambition to help clients navigate an era where the proliferation of content is rapid and inexpensive, but the real challenge lies in creating assets that resonate with audiences and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Velury will work closely with the current management team, which has already positioned Publicis Production as a leader in data-led content creation. She will harness the power of Leona, Publicis’ end-to-end agentic AI content engine, designed to deliver intelligent, identity-led content across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
Most recently, Velury served as Chief Technology & Transformation Officer at Epsilon, focusing on audience strategy and Connected Identity solutions. Her career includes a tenure as Chair and Chief Operating Officer at Tag, where she spearheaded global technology transformation initiatives. Her expertise in production, data, and consulting is expected to further strengthen Publicis’ leadership in scalable, personalized content delivery.
Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, said, “As AI changes the rules of traditional production, today every client can access content in a faster, cheaper, better way. But what they really need if they want to deliver business outcomes is the right content—consistent across platforms, true to brand values, personalized, scalable, and measurable. With her deep tech knowledge, expertise in data and craft, along with her recent experience at Epsilon, I have no doubt that Deepti is the right leader to take production at Publicis to even greater heights.”
