PhonePe has appointed Shivnath Thukral as Vice President for Public Policy and Government Affairs.
In this role, Shivnath will be responsible for leading PhonePe’s external engagement and discussions with policymakers and regulators. Shivnath will be part of the leadership team at PhonePe and work closely with founders Sameer Nigam and Rahul Chari and other leaders.
Shivnath Thukral joins PhonePe after an impactful stint at Meta as its Vice President of Public Policy to where he led the organisation as a strategic thinker, business leader and an effective advocate on regulatory issues related to technology and financial inclusion.
Shivnath, in recent years, has emerged as a leading policy professional occupying important positions in various industry associations such as BIF, USISPF, PAFI, etc.
