Peppermint Robotics, a provider of autonomous robotic solutions for commercial and industrial applications, has raised ₹34 crore (~$4 million) in its Series A funding round. The round included participation from JDSS, ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL, IAN, Vinners, and angel investors.
The funds raised will be used to expand into the European and Asia-Pacific markets through 2026. The company will also work to enhance its technologies, including the Peppermint OS and Skateboard.
The funding brings its total raised capital to Rs 49 crore (~$5.6 million).
Runal Dahiwade, Founder & CEO, Peppermint, said, “Given the challenges posed by labor shortages and increasing sustainability demands across industries, our solutions are positioned to offer both operational benefits and environmental improvements. This funding will support four key priorities—advancing international product offerings and compliance, expanding into the EU, Japan, and APAC regions, further developing our operating system to support both our robots and OEM partners, and building the necessary infrastructure to meet demand.”
Founded in 2019 by Runal Dahiwade, Peppermint is a robotics technology company with a global presence in six countries. Peppermint Robotics specializes in automating labour-intensive tasks within commercial and industrial environments.
Peppermint’s solutions aim to address labor shortages, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to sustainability through energy-efficient robotics, supported by the proprietary Peppermint OS and “Skateboard” electronics framework.
Peppermint recently entered the US market in 2024. The company also plans to expand its leadership and engineering teams while investing in production and supply chain capabilities, preparing for the release of a restroom cleaning robot in 2025-2026.
The systems are designed for ease of deployment and management, with cloud-connected dashboards and mobile apps that provide real-time data for decision-making.
Peppermint has attracted investment from NKK Group, SINE, Venture Catalysts, IAN, Voxtur Ventures, Vinners, JDSS, ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL, and others.
