Onsurity raises $45 million in series B funding round led by Creaegis

Prior to this, the startup raised $24 million in the first tranche of Series B funding round in October last year.

Onsurity, a subscription-based employee healthcare provider has raised $45 million in a series B funding round led by private equity firm Creaegis. The round also saw participation from existing investors including International Finance Corporation (IFC), Nexus Venture Partners and Quona Capital.

The funds will be used to launch new digital offerings and product lines, aiming to strengthen the ecosystem of financial solutions available to Indian SMEs. A portion of the investment will also be allocated to enhancing the company’s technology capabilities.

Prior to this, the startup raised $24 million in the first tranche of Series B funding round in October last year.

These products, offered under Onsurity Plus, aim to provide comprehensive coverage and support SMEs in navigating modern risks and challenges.

To date, Onsurity have onboarded over 8,000 companies, impacting more than 1.5 million lives across 26 states and 3 union territories in India. With this latest capital infusion, it aims to accelerate its vision of partnering with over 50,000 companies and extending coverage to more than 5 million lives by 2026.
