AiDash, an enterprise SaaS company providing satellite-first AI applications for remote inspection and monitoring of critical infrastructure, announced the appointment of Neil Chatterjee, former Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), to its advisory board.
Chatterjee brings more than 20 years of experience in energy policy work to AiDash. His distinguished career in government and regulation enables him to provide strategic guidance on how AiDash can best assist regulators and utility companies in adopting technology that furthers the goal of providing safe, reliable power in the face of increasing climate risks.
“In our persistent communications with leading climate and energy experts, Neil’s name came up time and again as someone we must get to know. From the first meeting with Neil, I was struck by our alignment on the importance of technology to solve the biggest energy challenges to regulators and utilities, as well as the desire to collaborate with all stakeholders for grid reliability and resilience. Having Neil join our advisory board is a fantastic step forward,” said Abhishek Singh, co-founder, and CEO of AiDash.
“A substantial increase in extreme weather incidents, like storms and wildfires, coupled with grid capacity issues, translate to a pressing need for innovative – and often collaborative – solutions. I believe AiDash is key to the future by making critical infrastructure industries climate-resilient, adaptable, and sustainable through satellites and AI. As an advisor, I am excited to bring regulators and utilities together to support an energy transition and help all stakeholders understand how we can take a more data-driven approach to improving our nation’s critical infrastructure,” said Chatterjee.
