NDTV Group, a news media company, has announced the appointment of Purva Misra as Chief People Officer, effective from September 3, 2024.
Purva Misra brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Business Management, and Consulting. Purva has managed HR across 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, is a certified Executive Coach, and has worked across diverse industries, including IT, ITES, Manufacturing, Public Sector, and Professional Services. She has successfully managed teams across India and the Asia-Pacific region and has a proven track record in leadership development and organizational transformation.
Prior to this, she worked as a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of India Today Group and as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of India Today Media Institute. Purva was also previously associated with MakeMyTrip.com as Sr. Vice President, with Max Healthcare and Max Neeman as Director HR, and with Aon-Hewitt as Principal Consultant and Asia-Pacific HR Director.
An Economics (Honors) graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Purva received her MBA degree with a Gold Medal from XLRI Jamshedpur.
